Types of blanchers

Blanching is an essential process which is used in some kind of foods. It is mostly used for solid foods such as vegetables.   • Pressure blancher

The pressure blancher is made up of stainless steel material. The main cabinets of pressure blanchers are sealed. Their outfeed areas are fitted which also provide an air lock arrangement.

  • Belt type steam blancher

Belt type steam blanchers are used to blanch these vegetables. These are one of the best types of blanchers in the market. They are in a perforated form so that the steam can pass through. The steam heating systems in these blanchers are the ones that can help direct injection. These types of systems are really great for blanching.

  • Screw Type blancher

Screw blanchers are made up of stainless steel materials. These have a cylindrical shaped central tube. These types of blanchers have a system which can reduce the risk of rubbing when it is fully operational. These are self-draining blanchers which make it very easy to use. These have a heat distribution system so the heat can be evenly distributed.

  • Vacuum Blancher

Vacuum blanchers are made up of stainless steel. The vessel in these types of blanchers is sealed and fitted with feeders that provide an arrangement in which the air can be locked inside. This helps the blancher to work well.

  • Drum Blancher

Drum blanchers are also made up of stainless steel. These blanchers have a system in which the water flow is a little higher so that the cooking process can be easily and accurately done. These work very fast and make the cooking process a lot easier. The cooking process becomes less time consuming with the help of these blanchers.

  • Belt blancher

The belt blancher is like a conveyor belt in which the product is spread on the belt evenly with a good quantity of steam for a period of time. The speed of the blancher is controlled. After the heating process is completed, the product has to pass through cold water before it leaves the machine. This starts the cooling process. This blancher can be used for a number of vegetables and other products as well.
